The elite Iranian university students in contribution with Iranian and foreign professors achieved the modern technology of air refining. Public relations office of University Students Innovation Development Organization reports: In this technology, through the injection of controlled amounts of negative ions sources of pollution are removed and the released Oxygen increases in a fresh and unpolluted atmosphere.
According to the report, studying the topographic maps of Tehran and installing refining machines in thirty two major parts of the city claim an eighty percent decrease of environmental pollutants in less than a year.
 The report notices: students and researchers are ready to expand their project all over Tehran to decrease the amount of air pollution provided that Environment Protection Organization and Tehran Municipality contribute in installing air refining utilities.
